Teaching English abroad in a foreign country is a very special and fun experience. However, if you go with no preparation or thoughts about what makes a good class, you will have a very hard time adjusting to the job. Now that you have finished this TEFL course you should go into your first job abroad confident and with the proper tools in order to teach English abroad. Always remember to be continuously thinking of ways to improve and writing down things that worked well and what did not work well. The job will be challenging, but as long as you go in with a good mindset and keep trying new and engaging things with your students, you will be able to be successful as an English teacher in a foreign country. Good luck and congratulations on finishing your 120-hour TEFL course and certification! All that’s left is your lesson plan!
