Writing Lessons in Online Classes

In online classes, writing is one of the easiest things to cover due to the nature of the online format. For younger students, if possible, you are going to want to assign some writing that they will actually have to do instead of just typing things out on the computer, because if the students are young enough, they will need to do a bit more than type so that they can form actual letters in writing. However, when it comes to writing it is likely you will not be able to have your students always print up writing worksheets, so you will be confined to mostly writing over white board or screen share. If you really would like to practice handwriting in addition to writing (typing) in classes, it is recommended that you do it mostly over screen share so you can see them directly writing.
