Chapter 39: Recruiters

chapter 39.jpg

When it comes to finding a job abroad teaching English, many people have said it is hard to look around and find jobs. However, if you look for recruiters for placing you in a school, you can often get a lot of offers for different countries and different pay scales. With recruiters you can get a huge amount of offers and look at a lot of different schools and opportunities. Also, with recruiters you should try to shop around in order to get access to as many jobs and opportunities as possible. The more places, people, and schools you have access to seeing for jobs, the more likely you will receive a good opportunity.

If you do go with a recruiter for finding a job teaching English abroad it is very important to remember that they are paid for placing you in a school, usually by the school itself. You should NEVER pay to use a recruiter; all recruiters usually work on the basis of finding you a school and then receiving a payment from your school after you have been there for a certain amount of time. Your school should also NOT charge you for the fee from the recruiter.
